R.H. Sheldon & Son, Inc. runs this website. We ask for only what we need to quote your job and do the work, and we do not sell your information to anyone.
What we collect
When you fill in the quote form we collect what you send: your name, company, phone number, email address, where the job is, and whatever details you write. That goes to vac@sheldongasoh.com so somebody can price your work and call you back.
If you arrived from an advert or a campaign link, the site stores the campaign details in a cookie on your own browser for up to 90 days, so that if you later ask for a quote we can tell which advert paid for itself. That cookie holds campaign labels and click identifiers, never your name.
Our web host keeps standard server logs for security and reliability.
How we use it
- To answer your quote request, usually with a phone call.
- To do the job if you hire us.
- To understand which pages people read so we can make the site more useful.
- To keep the site secure and working.
We do not use your information for anything you would not expect, and we do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager to count visits. Analytics cookies stay off until you accept them on the cookie banner; decline, and Google receives only anonymous, aggregated signals with nothing stored on your device. The full list of what can be set, and how to change your mind, is on the cookies page.
Who we share it with
The services that make the website run: our web host processes traffic, our email provider delivers the quote-request email, and Google provides the analytics described above. Each receives only what its job needs. Nobody gets your information for their own marketing, and we never sell it.
How long we keep it
Quote requests are kept as business correspondence for as long as they are useful, the same way a paper file would be. Analytics data follows Google’s retention settings.
Your choices
Email vac@sheldongasoh.com or call 419-759-2351 and ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask for it to be deleted. We will do it and tell you when it is done. You do not need to give a reason, and you never have to use this website to do business with us: the phone is answered 24 hours a day.
Children
This site sells underground utility work to contractors and property owners. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
