Accessibility

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA. That is a standard, not a certificate, so here is specifically what was done and how to tell us when it falls short.

What was built in

  • Every control is reachable and operable with a keyboard alone, in an order that matches what you see. Focus is always visible, marked with a gold ring. Escape closes the mobile menu.
  • Text contrast meets or beats 4.5:1 against its background; larger text and interface elements beat 3:1.
  • Every photograph carries a description of what it shows. Decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers instead of being announced as noise.
  • Tap targets are at least 48 pixels, and the call button at the bottom of a phone screen is larger than that.

Motion

There is very little movement on this site by design: a gentle fade as sections come into view and a slow pulse on the dispatch indicator. Both are switched off entirely if your device is set to reduce motion. Nothing autoplays, flashes, or moves on a loop otherwise.

Without JavaScript

If scripts fail to load or you have them turned off, every page still renders in full and every answer in the question sections still opens. Nothing is hidden behind an animation.

Known limitations

Equipment specification tables scroll sideways on a narrow screen rather than stacking, because breaking a specification away from its label would make the numbers meaningless. If that is a problem for you, call and we will read you any figure you need.

Tell us

If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, call 419-759-2351 or email vac@sheldongasoh.com. Say which page and what happened. We will fix it, and in the meantime we will give you the information over the phone. You never have to use this website to do business with us: the phone is answered 24 hours a day.

Questions about any of this?

Want something corrected, or a record removed? Call or write and it gets handled by a person, not a queue.
